- Rachel guests on the new A&E series, The Cleaner which stars Benjamin Bratt. The episode, titled 11th Hour, airs Tuesday, September 16th at 10:00 PM. Rachel plays Sarah, a heroin addict whose family seeks help from two different interventionists. Other series regulars are Amy Price-Francis, Grace Park, Kevin Michael Richardson, Esteban Powell, Brett DelBuono, Liliana Mumy. Additional guest stars are Kathy Baker, Isaiah Washington, Anastasia Griffith.
- Season Two of Californication begins September 28th at 10:00 PM on Showtime. So far the only episode which has Rachel Miner listed as appearing (as Dani) is titled The Great Ashby, airing October 5th.
- Rachel has been cast in The Butterfly Effect: Revelation (2009) which will be part of the next Horrorfest in January 2009, marking Rachel's third appearance in the horror film festival. Directed by Seth Grossman and written by Holly Brix the film also stars Chris Carmack, Sonya A. Avakian and Melissa "Mistress Malice" Jones. The sequel follows a young man who discovers he has inherited the powers of The Butterfly Effect. He tries to solve the mystery of his high school girlfriend's death, only to unleash a vicious serial killer.
- Rachel has been announced to be part of the upcoming Independent feature Truckstop, directed by Rotimi Rainwater and written by Tony Aloupis, Steven Grabowsky, Rotimi Rainwater. The cast includes Rachel Miner, Mimi Rogers, Cylk Cozart, Raymond Williams. "The film focuses on a high school student with cerebral palsy who works at a Truckstop and befriends Vicki, the local prostitute. They become friends, overcome obstacles, etc. Unless things have changed since initial contact was made, Miner will play the prostitute."
